Johann Georg Albrechtsberger (February 3, 1736 - March 7, 1809) was an Austrian musician who was natural at Klosterneuburg, near Vienna.
He originally exposed music at Melk Abbey & philosophy at the Jesuit seminary around Vienna & 1755 he went on to survey musical composition under a court organist, Mann, & became one of a virtually all conditioned & expert contrapuntists of his age. Fallowing existence listed when organist at Raab in 1755 and Maria Taferl in 1757, he was appointed Thurnermeister back at Melk Abbey. Around 1772 he was appointed organist to the court of Vienna, and inside 1792 Kapellmeister of St. Stephen's Cathedral.
